Grey Pure Polish Mare foaled January 24, 1986

Palestra is a Pure Polish mare of exquisite beauty, charisma and charm. From her great type, serene dark eyes, long neck, and powerful movement, she embodies all the qualities that make the Polish broodmares famous. She has proven herself both as a show horse and as a producer of champions. In the 2000 European Championships she scored a total of 94.2, making her the high score of the entire show. In her first show in the UAE, the 2002 Sharjah Festival of the Horse, she was named Champion Senior Female and once again had the high score of the show. In addition to this, as a broodmare she has also excelled. Her daughter, Pognoza (by Etogram) was named Swedish National Champion Mare. Two of her daughters, Palestyna and Palmira (both by Monogramm) have been retained by the famous Michalow Stud to continue this family line and Palmira was named the 2003 World Reserve Champion Mare.

The sire of Palestra is Penitent, 1986 Polish National Champion Stallion and 1987 European Supreme Champion Stallion. He is also the sire of Eldon, the Polish and European Champion Stallion; Kawalkada, the United States National Champion Mare; Floria Pretoria, Wentura and Palba.
