It has been a great success for Al Zobair Stud at the first Annual Sharjah Straight Egyptian Show with Thoraya Al Zobair as Junior Champion Filly and Bint Al Mamunah Al Zobair as Reserve Junior Champion Filly. Our great Mmecca brought home the Senior Champion at the mares division.

We are very glad to announce our first filly from Al Aaqib Al Zamet born in the UAE out of Maliha Bouznika (Imperial Mashhar x Imdalia by Imperial Imdal). With a special thanks to Al Zamet Arabians.

KHIDAR ARRIVES IN THE UAE! Alzobair Stud, part of the Khidar Partnership, is proud to announce the arrival of the beautiful World Reserve Champion Stallion, KHIDAR (Ansata Sinan x Elizja), to Sharjah. He will be standing at Alzobair Stud for a limited time in 2005.

2006 UAE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (February 15-17): The beautiful MMECCA once again took home the title of Champion Mare with 6 (out of a possible 8) 20’s for type and head and neck. KHATER ALZOBAIR also repeated his class win of the yearling colts.

2005 Sharjah National Show for Local Bred horses (December, 21-22). : The 2 nd annual show for horses born locally (within the UAE) was a tremendous success, with all 4 championships being won by horses belonging to or bred by Alzobair Stud! The yearling straight Egyptian filly, RAYHANA ALZOBAIR (Ansata Selman x Al Mamunah) won a fairly large class and ended up being named Junior Champion Female. MUNIR ALZOBAIR (Ashhal Al Rayyan x Esklawa) won the class for the two year old colts and was ultimately named Junior Champion Colt. The lovely straight Egyptian, DALAL ALZOBAIR (Al Adeed Al Shaqab x Khameela), the first horse bred by Alzobair Stud, was awarded the title of Champion Mare and EL BAZ (Om El Azadik x Blida El Maklouf), bred by Al Qassimi Stables, was named Champion Stallion. In addition, NABEELA ALZOBAIR won the class for Three Year old fillies.

Congratulations go to Dr. Ghanem Al Hajri for his recent acquisition of the straight Egyptian stallion, GR SIWAN (Classic Shadwan x Samara Bint Sinan by Ansata Sinan) and to Mr. Mohammed Al Tawheidi for his acquisition of the straight Egyptian colt, HAMMAM ALZOBAIR (Al Adeed Al Shaqab x Khameela by PVA Kariim). Good luck to both of you with these two top young horses!!

2005 Ajman Arabian National C Show (January 5-6, 2005) : For the third year in a row, Alzobair Stud took home the title of Ajman Champion Mare with the beautiful HW EGYPTIAN ART (Sanadik El Shaklan x Hal Sheena NA). JFN BINT LUDHAN (AB Magnum x ZT LUDHAN) won the class for three year old fillies.

SHARJAH NATIONAL SHOW FOR LOCAL BRED HORSES December 15/16, 2004 Sharjah hosted the first show held entirely for horses born in the UAE.  Surprisingly large in numbers and quite competitive for such a new market, the show was very successful for Alzobair Stud.  The beautiful and elegant two year old filly, JAMILLA ALZOBAIR (Ashhal Al Rayyan x My Silk Stocking) was winner of her class and was named Junior Champion! JFN Bint Ludhan (AB Magnum x ZT Ludjin El Jamaal), the former Argentina National Champion Filly, has recently been aquired by Alzobair Stud. In her first show in Europe at the International A Show, the Elran Cup in Borgloon, Belgium, she won a very large class of two year old fillies as well as being named Reserve Champion Junior Filly. Thanks to Philippe Hosay and the staff at European Training Center who prepared and showed her to this win.

2004 UAE Championship Show, Abu Dhabi, April 2004 At the UAE National Championship show, held in Abu Dhabi, the beautiful and promising straight Egyptian filly, Dalal Alzobair, was named Reserve Junior Champion Filly. Perhaps the most important prize of all though, was her win of the prestigious Emirates Cup, a trophy given to the highest scoring horse of the show that was bred and born in the UAE. This is a very significant win as the majority of the horses in the Championship classes were imported.

2004 Sharjah International Arabian Horse Show - March, 2004

In the first International Horse Show held in the UAE, horses from Alzobair Stud did extremely well. The beautiful HW Egyptian Art won the class for Mares 10 and Above, defeating the World Champion Mare, Victoria II, and ended up with the title of Sharjah Reserve Champion Senior Mare. Perhaps even more satisfying though was the success of two young fillies bred by Alzobair Stud, Jamilla Alzobair (Ashhal Al Rayyan x My Silk Stocking) and Nabeela Alzobair (Safir x OA Karisma).

Although the two youngest in the class, Jamilla and Nabeela showed enough quality, style and type to place first and second (respectively) in Section A of the Yearling Fillies. Special appreciation must be given to HE Sh. Abdulaziz Bin Khalid Althani of Al Rayyan Stud for allowing us to breed to his stallions to produce these two top fillies. HW Egyptian Art still had enough energy to go on to be named Champion Liberty Mare, and the big trotting El Baz was named Champion Liberty Stallion.

Ajman Arabian Horse Show, January, 2004

The second Ajman Arabian Horse Show proved to be highly successful for the horses of Alzobair Stud. The elegant and feminine young filly, Jamilla Alzobair (Ashhal Al Rayyan x My Silk Stocking), did exceptionally well for her first horse show. Although a very late foal and therefore the youngest in the class and the first to enter, her points were sill high enough to take second place in a fairly large class filled with much older fillies.

Esklawa and Khameela

Dalal Alzobair (Al Adeed Al Shaqab x Khameela) also showed for the first time, and took second in a highly competitive class. But it was the mares of Alzobair Stud that reigned supreme, with the straight Egyptian mare, Khameela (PVA Kariim x Bintstril) winning a large class of 4-8 year old mares, and the pure Polish mare Esklawa (Eukaliptus x Ekstaza) winning the 9 and older mares. Although very heavy in foal, Esklawa ended up being named Champion Mare and Khameela was named Reserve Champion. Many thanks to HE Sh. Ammar Bin Humaid al Nuaimi of Ajman Stud for sponsoring and organizing such a lovely show.

Once again the beautiful Palestra came to the top, being named Champion Senior Mare in Jordan in the Jordan National Show as well as Reserve Middle East Champion!

2003 Qatar International Arabian Horse Show - March, 2003

The Qatar International Arabian Horse Show is known worldwide for the quality of horses and the depth of competition, especially in the Mare Divisions. Alzobair Stud was very proud to have two class wins, with Maliha Bouznika winning the 4-6 year old mares and Palestra winning the class for Mares 11 and older with the highest score of the show for all the divisions of mares. HW Egyptian Art also placed well, earning a second in a very difficult class for Mares 8-10 years. In the Championship though, it was Maliha Bouznika who brought home the prize of Reserve Champion Mare.

Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani with Fargola, Ellada and Escalona In the 2002 Pride of Poland Sale, Alzobair Stud added to its collection of top mares with the acquisition of ELLADA, ESCALONA & FARGOLA. ELLADA is perhaps the most well known of the three mares, being a former Polish National Champion Junior filly as well as a Polish National Reserve Champion Mare. Her mother, EMIGRACJA, has been a tremendous producer and is the dam of EMIGRANTKA, EMANACJA, EMILDA, EMANDA, EL DORADA, EMIGRANT, and EMANOR. FARGOLA and ESCALONA are also top mares with exceptional pedigrees and we eagerly await the arrival of their foals by the World Champion stallions Gazal Al Shaqab and Ekstern.
